Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Kapr ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect when you use our mobile application, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Using Kapr Without an Account

You can use Kapr without creating an account, and this is how the app works by default. In this mode your device is identified only by a randomly generated identifier that is not linked to your name, email address, or phone number.

We store your learning progress against that identifier on our servers so it is not lost if the app closes unexpectedly. This includes lessons completed, points, streak, daily goals, saved words, exam results, and game scores, together with the course you are studying and the display name and avatar the app generates for you.

3. Optional Accounts

You may choose to sign in with Google or Apple so your progress can be recovered if you change phone or reinstall the app. Signing in is entirely optional and no feature of the app is restricted if you skip it.

If you do sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) receives and stores your email address and the name and profile picture supplied by Google or Apple. We use this solely to recognise you when you return and to reconnect you with the progress described above. We do not use your email for marketing, and we do not post anything to your Google or Apple account.

4. Other Data

If you contact us through the in-app support form, we store the name, subject, and message you submit so we can reply and improve the app. While the app is open it periodically records that your device is active, so the app can show how many people are learning at that moment. We also record anonymous visit counts on our website.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements, and Google may collect and use certain data for advertising purposes in line with its own privacy policy. On iOS, personalised advertising is only used if you allow tracking when asked. We use Clerk to handle sign-in for the optional accounts described above.

6. Deleting Your Data

You can reset your learning progress at any time from Profile → Settings, which erases the progress stored for your device.

If you have signed in, you can permanently delete your account and all progress attached to it from Profile → Settings → Delete account. This removes your Clerk account, including your email address and name, and the progress stored on our servers. It cannot be undone. Full instructions are on our account deletion page.

7. Children

Kapr is a general-audience learning app. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a way that requires parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this privacy policy or wish to exercise your data rights, please contact us at support@kurdclass.com.
